Dreame Technology, a global leader in high-end consumer electronics and intelligent manufacturing based in Suzhou, China, sees Thailand as a high-potential market for home appliances. The company is strengthening its presence in the country with new product lines.

Meng Jia, director of Dreame Robot Vacuum, described Dreame as a “consumer-centric, tech-driven brand” that prioritises artificial intelligence and algorithm development.
Dreame is one of the leading names in smart home cleaning, with four core product lines: robotic vacuums and mops, cordless stick vacuums, wet and dry vacuums, and high-speed hair dryers.

Globally, more than 30 million households in 100 countries, including China, the US, Germany, France and South Korea, use Dreame products, he added.
ASEAN offers growth potential
Since 2021, Dreame has expanded its presence across Southeast Asia, including Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam and the Philippines.
The company views ASEAN as a high-potential market, home to 600 million people, of which more than half are aged under 35. The company believes the young demographic is happy to spend on quality and innovation.
Dreame also plans to enter Laos, Myanmar and Cambodia.
Operating in Thailand since 2021, the company views the local culture and climate as creating unique demand.
Members of Thai households typically remove their shoes before going indoors, with family members walking barefoot, so being sensitive to the cleanliness of floors.
Combined with the challenges of dust and humidity in a tropical climate, this creates natural demand for Dreame’s robot vacuums, mopping robots and wet and dry vacuums.
Tech-driven innovation
Despite fierce competition, Mr Meng is confident in Dreame’s ability to differentiate through technology-driven innovation.
He said Dreame’s core strength lies in research and innovation (R&D). About 7% of the company’s revenue is allocated to R&D, underscoring its dedication to innovation.
Through R&D, the company designs its products based on studying customers in each region, curating technology to better suit the local market.
Moreover, Dreame offers a connected ecosystem covering smart cleaning, personal care, air solutions and large appliances. This integrated approach provides consumers with a seamless lifestyle experience.
“Positioning our brand between ultra-premium brands and mass-market products, the company strikes a balance between quality and affordability,” he said.
“We believe Dreame cannot only compete, but also win consumer trust and recognition in Thailand,” said Mr Meng.
According to the company, in the first half of 2025, Dreame ranked No.1 in vacuum cleaner and wet and dry vacuum sales on e-commerce platforms Shopee and Lazada across Southeast Asia.
Broadening its presence
Dreame recently launched products across multiple categories, including robot vacuums, wet and dry vacuums, stick vacuums, personal care products, air purifiers and kitchen appliances, according to Dreame Thailand.

In Thailand, the brand currently operates one flagship store at Seacon Srinakarin.
By 2026, it plans to expand by having more than five flagship stores and over 50 shop-in-shop outlets nationwide, strengthening its offline presence and services for local consumers.
“Our goal is to deliver high-quality, high-performance and highly innovative products and services to consumers in Thailand and worldwide,” Mr Meng said.
